Print this newspostThe first official conferences towards the European Year of Volunteering will be organised on 16 and 17 December 2009.

"Participation through Volunteering" and Golden Stars - Concert Noble (Brussels), 16 December 2009, 14.00 - 21.30

Official Europe for Citizens event of the European Commission, including the award ceremony for the Golden Stars, where the best citizens projects funded through the Europe for Citizens Programme will be rewarded, and the ceremony for the winning logo and slogan for the European Year 2011.

"Towards a successful European Year 2011: Ideas - initiatives - next steps" - European Economic and Social Committee (Brussels),  17 December 2009, 09.00 - 13.00

Conference organized by the EYV 2011 Alliance. This conference is open to member organisations of the volunteer organisations coming together in the EYV Alliance to provide a forum for exchange of the plans for 2010 and 2011 and to input into the planning of the Year at European level.
