"Let's Slogo" - the official competition for a logo and a slogan for the European Year of Volunteering 2011started on the 6 of August and 5 weeks later, at the closure of the submission period, the website counted more than 15,000 visitors. Logo and slogan proposals came flooding in from all over Europe and beyond - in total 566 logo and 693 slogan proposals were sent in. A jury of 100 online volunteers has pre-selected the logos and slogans, which have been scrutinised by the organisers of the competition.

Following this procedure, all public is invited to vote for their favourite logos and slogans, giving every citizen the possibility to make an impact on the European Year of Volunteering 2011.  Between 1 and 16 October, visit www.eyv2011.eu and let us know your preferences.
