![]() | Eva Hambach | Eva Hambach was elected as CEV President on 14 October 2009. Eva (born 1963) is director of the "Vlaams Steunpunt Vrijwilligerswerk", the Flemish region volunteer support centre in Belgium, and President of the Belgian High Council for Volunteering. She holds a Master degree in Political Sciences and International Policy. During her career she managed local community projects and served as Head of a Social Service Provision Office in Antwerp, was involved for several years in the Belgian Trade Union and has lived in Syria for 2 years before joining the Vlaams Steunpunt Vrijwilligerswerk in 2001 as its director. Since 2003 Eva is active within the CEV network and was elect ed member of the Board of Directors in 2005. ![]() | Renzo Razzano Vice President SPES Italy (I) | Renzo is Italian and has been already a member of the Board of Directors 2005-2008 and since 2007 Vice President of CEV. Renzo is President of SPES (Volunteering Support Centre in the Lazio region), parallely he is the Delegate for European Policy and Work Group on Europe at CSV.net (Italian National Coordination of Volunteering Support Centres). ![]() | Susana Szabo | Susana Szabo is of Hungarian origin and holds both Hungarian and British nationalities, living since 25 years in France. She represents France Bénévolat in the Board. Susana has been working as an executive for the sector of non-profit organisations at the “Conseil Economique et Social” in Paris. Previously she also worked as executive for Europe in the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in London and she was an English teacher and a freelance translator for English, Spanish and Hungarian. András F. Tóth Treasurer ÖKA National Volunteer Centre (HU) | András F. Tóth has been elected as a new Board member on 14 October 2009. András F. Tóth was born in 1974 in Debrecen (Hungary). He graduated as teacher in 1995 and then as social politician in 2002 at the University of Debrecen. He was member of Youth Action for Peace (YAP) between 1995 and 2006 where he served as president between 2004 and 2006. He worked at the Nonprofit Information and Training Centre Foundation (NIOK) between 1996 and 2002 where he was responsible for the Volunteer Development Programme from 1998 on. Volunteer development in Hungary became the focus of his work from this point on. He was member of the National Committee of the International Year of Volunteers (2001). Mirko Schwarzel BBE National Network for Civil Society (DE) | Mirko Schwärzel (born 1977) represents the German National Network for Civil Society and Civic Engagement (BBE) where he has been working as coordinator for European affairs since 2008. Before he was engaged in the management of long-term volunteering and community education projects and was actively involved in European networks of the youth sector (e.g. the European Youth Forum). ![]() ![]() | Aurora Cantó Romero | Aurora Cantó (born 1971) is Spanish and took her degree in Business Studies (Managing Accounting branch) at the University of Valencia. Since 2010, she has been the Managing Director of Fundar (The Foundation for Solidarity and Voluntary Work of the Valencian Community), where she started in 2001 as the Head of the General Secretariat. She has deep experience in economic accounting advice, as she worked for a professional firm of auditors in the field of accounting advice, tax advice and economic development. She participated as a volunteer in Engage Corporate Volunteering program, where she colaborated with convicts helping them learn how to read and write.

![]() | Vicente Ballesteros Spanish Volunteering Platform (ES) | Vicente Ballesteros was born in 1961. He has three degrees in Theology, Philosophy and Social Work, as well a Masters in Gerontology, and a PhD in Anthropology and Social policy. His PhD thesis was on “volunteering with elderly people”. He is very proud to have been a senior volunteer for more than 28 years, firstly in the “Christian Fellowship for Sick and Disabled People” and later in the Granada Volunteering Platform. Now he is Vice-president of the Andalusian Volunteering Platform and he represents the Spanish Volunteering Platform on the CEV Board. He has published books and articles about volunteering research.
