Call for an Office and Administrative Support volunteer

CEV is currently looking for an experienced Brussels-based Office and Administrative Support Volunteer

Description:

The Office and Administrative Support Volunteer will be mainly in charge of

- Supporting the staff in the maintenance of the office (including coordinating cleaning, repairing of material etc).
-
Taking care of the office supplies stock and maintain contact with suppliers;
- Maintaining a database of contacts of suppliers (stocks; hotels; restaurants, etc;)
-
Assisting with the organisation of the logistics for CEV international events in Brussels
- If experienced, the volunteer could also assist the director with bookkeeping and accounting activities.

Profile:

- Preferably a retired secretary/office manager interested in administration and management of small ASBL / vzw;
- Fluency in French required; at least some knowledge of English required (working language of the office); knowledge of Dutch is an asset!

Flexible, proactive and independent attitude

Working hours: Flexible, 2 to 3 days a week                   

Reimbursement of expenses:

Local travel costs can be reimbursed as well as the lump sum per day under Belgian law (with a maximum of 1,200 EUR / year).

Call for an online IT volunteer 


The European Volunteer Centre (CEV) is looking for an online volunteer to help us cut and make a montage of three videos of a conference and a study visit organised by CEV.

One video is from CEV General Assembly in Luxembourg and is around 25 minutes long.

The two other videos are from a study visit organised for CEV members in CEV secretariat in Brussels and should be put together in one video. In total they are around 5 minutes long.

Call for Volunteer Translators
 
 
CEV is looking for volunteer translators for its various publications, websites and other documents. Translations need to be done on an ad-hoc basis, according to translation needs. Volunteer translators are required mainly for translation from English into the following languages:
 
  • Finnish, Danish, Hungarian, Czech, Greek, Lithuanian, Dutch, Slovak, Slovene, Swedish, as well as Irish/Gaelic and Spanish/Catalan.

Volunteer translators will be provided with a certificate from CEV, acknowledging their voluntary translation activities and recognising their efforts.
