Member information
Cibervolunteers are people able who help, with their knowledge, enthusiasm and participation, launch the digital revolution, specially for groups with fewer opportunities to access new technologies and receive training. In fact they are really technological volunteers, who present in a useful, simple and effective way, in person, the possibilities for the use of New Technologies for everyday life, through courses, chats, conferences, work shops, events, as well as other activities.
The main idea is to solve social problems by using new technologies. That is why the Foundation focuses its activity on “helping all people have the same opportunities to access, to know and to use the New Technologies with the purpose of reducing the digital divide and stimulating the Knowledge Society".
More than 600 cyber volunteers are involved in our activities and recent events / publications:
- Information Society World-wide Summit (Ginebra and Tunisia) Sep/Oct 05
- Euroforum (Valencia) October 2005
