Member information
Fundación Voluntarios por Madrid was established by the municipality of Madrid in April 2005 and is a non-profit entity aimed at promoting, training and supporting volunteering.Strategic objectives
- To promote citizens' engagement in voluntary activities
- To enhance the participation of the business sector in the framework of corporate social responsibility
- To support all social entities in the development of projects fostering solidarity
- To offer a public service that facilitates the establishment of projects that promote volunteering action
- Sensitisation campaigns that target the citizens of Madrid with the aim of implementing a culture of solidarity
- Volunteering School that provides training opportunities to volunteers and social entities
- Support is given to business to set up specific projects in the framework of employee volunteering schemes
