Member information

The Andalucian Platform of Volunteering was established in 1999 and brings together regional networks of volunteering that work to improve the functioning of volunteer organisations and training of volunteers.

Aims:

• Promotion of volunteer effort in Andalucia
  
• Training for volunteers and for staff working in volunteer organisations
• Support to volunteer organisations and volunteers
• Establishment of communication and coordination channels between the volunteer organisations in the region
• Inputs to the  volunteering policies through the organisation of fora, meetings, etc
  

Activities:

• Sensitisation and public awareness campaigns
• Training for volunteers and volunteer managers
• Volunteering and social inclusion programmes targeting groups at risk
• Setting up of volunteering projects with relevant partners
