Member information
The Plataforma del Voluntariado de Tenerife is a non-profit organisation aimed at the promotion of volunteering in Tenerife. It comprises a total of 60 member organisations involving volunteers and working in various fields of action.
The Plataforma del Voluntariado de Tenerife’s main objectives are:
- to promote and raise awareness of the importance of volunteering in society;
- to coordinate and support the work of the Platform’s member organisations;
- to encourage citizens to volunteer and orientate them to the organisations that can provide them with volunteering opportunities;
- to promote collaboration and exchange of experiences and best practices between its member organisations;
- to advocate enabling volunteering strategies to the public authorities.
