Member information
The Plataforma del Voluntariat Social de la Comunitat Valenciana (P.V.S.C.V.) is a network of non-profit organisations, all of them linked by volunteering, which works at promoting and spreading voluntary action in society.The main aims of the Plataforma are:
- To promote and raise awareness of volunteering as well as about its meaning, commitment and objectives
- To exchange work experiences and to facilitate collaboration between members, as well as with other stakeholders
- To study the legal situation of volunteering in Spain and to develop proposals for new volunteering policies
- To be a representative voice of its members in national and international fora and to defend volunteer interests and independence towards public and private actors
- To organise activities with its partners and to develop strategies together with other platforms
- To promote volunteers' training as an instrument for social change, in the interest of under-priviledged groups.
