Member information

SEEYN is an initiative that attempts to overcome differences among societies that have a recent tradition of conflict, through bringing young people from the entire South Eastern Europe region to work together. SEEYN is one of the seven networks established within NAB programme conducted by the Danish Foreign Ministry. It is particularly important that all actors participating in this process are equally represented, and that there is neutral and independent treatment of the initiatives coming from different countries.

Aims & Objectives:

  • To empower youth to build a stable and peaceful region
  • To create fertile ground and conditions for youth mobility
  • To promote and support adequate government policies for youth.

Activities:
  • Advocacy as a tool for development of a supportive legal framework
  • Workcamps for Intercultural Learning
  • Volunteering for development
  • Publishing research findings, best practices, toolkits (these contribute to the knowledge base of the non-profit sector in the field of voluntary service).
