Member information

The Corporate Volunteer Association was founded in 2002 to help establish corporate employee volunteering in the corporate culture of Turkish companies.

The Corporate Volunteer Association serves as a bridge between companies and non-profit organisations for companies and their employees to be able to serve the communities in which they work.

The Logo carries the meaning that "what comes from the heart goes to the heart; what comes from the community goes back to the community; it is something like recycling."

Objectives

• To create a dynamic relationship between the community and the corporate sector
• To help lead spreading volunteering in the corporate sector
• To identify solutions to the needs of the community with the support of non-profit organisations

The Corporate Volunteer Association offers the following services to its 55 member coorporations:

• Community Volunteer Days; we organise one-day volunteering events whereby employees have an entire day to create a difference as a team in either environment, arts & culture, education, or health
• Corporate Volunteer Project Support; we support companies through a customised “Special Volunteer Project” including planning, implementation and evaluation
• Social Awareness and Social Responsibility Projects; this training targets the development of skills that are essential for work life, while increasing the capacity and impact of the projects carried out by non-profit organisations
• Volunteer Management in Corporate Social Responsibility Programs;  we help develop the volunteer contribution of employees in the company’s corporate social responsibility projects.
