Member information
Founded as a citizen initiative in 2000, our mission is to facilitate the growth and development of voluntary activity in Estonia. The main goals of our NGO are to promote voluntary activity, to improve the ability of organisations to involve and manage volunteers and to create an environment that supports and facilitates voluntary activity in Estonia.
Current activities of Volunteer Development Estonia include managing and developing a volunteer work web portal, which is our main tool for bringing together organisations and volunteers; training and counseling organisations on volunteer management; organising an annual national volunteer recognition event in December, where the patron of the event is the President of the Republic of Estonia.
