Member information

Wales Council for Voluntary Action represents, campaigns for, supports and develops voluntary organisations, community action, and volunteering in Wales.  It represents the sector at a European, UK, and national level. 

Together with county voluntary councils (CVCs) and volunteer centres, it provides the generalist support infrastructure for the sector in Wales, working alongside national specialist umbrella and development agencies.

WCVA is a membership organisation, and a company limited by guarantee, with charitable status.  Full membership is open to any national, regional and umbrella local third sector organisation in Wales, and to any other third sector organisation whose interests are not represented at any of the above levels.  Other organisations and individuals may join as non voting members.
